Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, I am a proud product of public education. I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Saxophone Performance from Slippery Rock University, graduating summa cum laude. During my time at Slippery Rock, I performed on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones in various ensembles and produced over 40 audio/visual recording projects.
With experience as a K-12 public school educator, I have developed and implemented engaging curricula, integrated technology into instruction, and fostered creativity and student development in the classroom. Beyond teaching, I have extensive experience in live sound production, recording engineering, and instructional technology, working in both educational and performance settings.
Outside of music, I love to travel and experience new cultures. Some of my favorite places in the U.S. include San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York City, while internationally, I have had unforgettable experiences in Europe and South America.
