Created in response to the COVID-19 shutdown in Spring 2020, Dynamically Distant was my first large-scale virtual concert production.
With performers recording their parts independently using whatever technology they had available, I managed the post-production process, aligning and editing both audio and video to create a cohesive and immersive musical experience.
The 40-minute concert was live-streamed on Facebook and has since garnered over 2,000 views.
This concert featured live recordings of the Slippery Rock University Flute Ensemble, bringing together musicians in a socially distanced yet collaborative setting. The performance was live-streamed on Facebook and included an innovative partnership with dancers from the Multidisciplinary Arts Collective at SRU.
By integrating live instrumental performance with movement, this production explored the expressive possibilities of interdisciplinary performance art, highlighting the adaptability of musicians and dancers in challenging times.
The Slippery Rock University Honors Flute Ensemble is an annual event that gives high school flutists the opportunity to perform alongside SRU flute majors. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 performance was held virtually, requiring the precise synchronization of over 30 individual video and audio recordings.
This project showcased my ability to coordinate large-scale remote collaborations, ensuring clarity and cohesion in both sound and visual presentation. The concert featured world premieres of works by renowned composers Nicole Chamberlain, Rafael Piccolotto de Lima, and Robert Traugh.
This is one piece from the Springfield High School Band Concert in 2021. I recorded and edited the concert to be shared with students and families. I also created the concert recordings for the high school string orchestra and jazz band. These were the first performances since the beginning of the pandemic and helped share students' work with the community.
This recording of the Star Spangled Banner was part of the recorded concerts for the E.T. Richardson Middle School Concert Band and Wind Ensemble. There are multiple edits in this recording from four different takes of the song to create the final version. I also recorded the 6th grade band, 6th grade strings, and 7/8 Orchestra concerts.
This concert was one of the six elementary concerts I recorded and produced for this project. In this concert I am playing the piano accompaniments off camera to support the student musicians. I also created the videos for the 4th and 5th grade bands at Scenic Hills and Sabold elementary schools.

As her retirement performance, this event held deep significance for students, colleagues, and the broader SRU community. I managed the live-streaming and production to ensure a professional presentation, preserving this milestone moment for on-demand viewing.
This multimedia presentation blended recorded performances by SRU faculty with archival images and video footage from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Created as part of SRU’s week-long event series commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11, this project aimed to provide a space for reflection, remembrance, and hope.
This recording features the Slippery Rock University Wind Ensemble performing Dawn by Miyuko Oda, the 2020 winner of the Barbara Buehlman Composition Competition.
The recording was officially released at the 2021 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic through Murphy Music Press, marking an important contribution to the wind band repertoire and providing a high-quality reference for ensembles worldwide.

This hour-long virtual concert was live-streamed in April 2021, offering a mix of live and pre-recorded performances. The production required precise audio and video coordination to ensure seamless transitions between segments, maintaining audience engagement throughout.
The second annual Ronald Phillips Memorial Award Prize Concert featured student performances alongside pre-recorded speaker presentations and Zoom segments. I edited the event to emphasize key moments, including heartfelt student reactions during the scholarship reveal.
